The invention provides a flame-retardant heat insulation board for a building external wall. The flame-retardant heat insulation board comprises a bonding layer, a heat insulation layer and a phenolic resin layer which are sequentially and tightly bonded from inside to outside. The flame-retardant heat insulation board for the building external wall has the advantages that the fireproof performance of the heat insulation board can be effectively enhanced through the phenolic resin layer; further, the safety performance of the heat insulation board is improved; the bonding layer arranged at the inner side of the heat insulation layer can effectively enhance the bonding force between the heat insulation board and a wall body; the heat insulation board is prevented from falling down; the heat insulation layer is arranged between the bonding layer and the phenolic resin layer, so that the heat insulation performance of the heat insulation board can be improved; and the heat insulation performance of the heat insulation board can also be improved through the compounding effect of the heat insulation layer and the phenolic resin layer.
