The invention discloses an autoclaved aerated concrete block produced by palygorskite. The autoclaved aerated concrete block is prepared from, by weight, 35-45 parts of palygorskite, 20-30 parts of blast furnace slag, 5-10 parts of cement, 8-15 parts of calcite, 10-15 parts of gypsum, 0.5-0.7 part of aluminum powder paste, 3-5 parts of calcium sulfate crystal whisker, 0.2-0.5 part of silicone oil and 0.1-0.2 part of methyl carbamate. Compared with the prior art, the autoclaved aerated concrete block has the advantages that the palygorskite is selected as the main raw material of the autoclaved aerated concrete block, materials adopted for the formula are optimized, the manufacturing cost is low, energy consumption is decreased, the silicone oil is added into the mixed solution, the stability of the autoclaved aerated concrete block can be improved while the silicon content is improved, the strength and the shrinking percentage are equivalent to those of a common autoclaved aerated concrete block, both the sound insulation performance and the heat insulation performance are obviously improved, and the great economic significance is achieved.
