The invention discloses a new material for improving the waterproofing and leak stopping efficiencies in a grouting construction process, and a preparation method thereof. The new material for improving the waterproofing and leak stopping efficiencies in a grouting construction process is prepared from, by weight, 100 parts of a polymer emulsion building waterproof coating, 8-20 parts of solvent-free polyurethane, 4-10 parts of a polyurethane curing agent and 2-5 parts of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose. The preparation method comprises the following steps: sequentially pouring the polymer emulsion building waterproof coating, the solvent-free polyurethane, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and the polyurethane curing agent into a mixing barrel, and carrying out middle speed stirring for 1-5min until uniform mixing in order to prepare the new material for improving the waterproofing and leak stopping efficiencies in the grouting construction process. The new material for improving the waterproofing and leak stopping efficiencies in the grouting construction process is prepared to overcome the abuse of adverseness to improvement of the waterproofing and leak stopping efficiencies due to long solidification time of present waterproofing and leak stopping materials, and the preparation method is designed to prepare the new material.
