A lock which cannot be opened violently comprises a lock cylinder, a lock casing and a key. A plurality of reinforcing ribs are arranged on the outer periphery of the lock cylinder, longitudinal ball holes are formed between two adjacent reinforcing ribs, and ball assemblies are inserted into the longitudinal ball holes; and horizontal irregular-shaped ball holes are formed in the reinforcing ribs, and irregular-shaped ball assemblies are inserted into the horizontal irregular-shaped ball holes. Each irregular-shaped ball assembly comprises an irregular-shaped spring and an irregular-shaped ball which are arranged from inside to outside, a protrusion is arranged on the upper end face of the irregular-shaped ball, and a V-shaped groove is formed in the lower end face of the irregular-shaped ball. A side column groove is axially formed in the lock cylinder, a side column is arranged in the side column groove, a V-shaped horizontal beam matched with the V-shaped groove of the irregular-shaped ball is arranged on the inner side of the side column, and the V-shaped groove of the irregular-shaped ball is located above the V-shaped horizontal beam. Teeth on one side of the key are matched with protrusions of the irregular-shaped balls, a lock casing groove is formed in the inner side of the lock casing, and the lock casing groove is matched with the width of the side column. The lock cannot be opened violently and is complex in locking structure, large in strength, difficult to open, high in safety coefficient, low in matching rate and long in service life.
