The invention relates to a heat-insulation and sound-isolation building block manufactured by domestic garbage. The compressive strength is 3.5Mpa to 15Mpa. The heat-insulation and sound-isolation building block is prepared by the following specific steps of (1) treating the domestic garbage, crushing, drying, uniformly mixing 130 to 150 parts of crushed garbage, 100 to 120 parts of cement, 120 to 130 parts of coal ash, 3 to 4 parts of gypsum powder, 45 to 50 parts of yellow sand, 1 to 1.5 parts of sodium silicate, 15 to 17 parts of calcium oxide, and 50 to 60 parts of water, and sending into moulds of an automatic forming brick moulding machine to vibrate and pressurize; (2) after forming, curing for 13 to 15h at the temperature of 85 to 95 DEG C by steam, or naturally curing for 7 days at the temperature of 0 to 15 DEG C, putting into a finished product stacking yard, and naturally airing, so as to obtain the finished product. The heat-insulation and sound-isolation building block has the advantages that the weight is light, the resource utilization of garbage is realized, the wastes can be changed into the valuables, the resources are saved, a good path is provided for the energy saving, emission reduction and garbage treatment, the pollution of garbage to environment is solved, and the occupation of land resources is reduced.
