The invention discloses a wall enclosing material produced through industrial byproduct gypsum. The wall enclosing material is composed of four layers including an interface layer, a thermal insulation layer, a face layer and a putty layer from inside to outside. The thermal insulation layer is prepared from, by weight, 35% of the industrial byproduct gypsum, 20% of cement, 20% of coal ash, 5.5% of silica powder, 3% of methylcellulose, 6% of emulsion powder, 10% of semi-hydrated gypsum and 0.5% of retarders; after the raw materials of the thermal insulation layer are mixed and stirred, 1,000 cubes of polystyrene particles are added, and then the materials are mixed, stirred and bagged. The face layer is prepared from, by weight, 30% of the industrial byproduct gypsum, 20% of cement, 40% of sand, 4.5% of silica powder, 2.5% of methylcellulose, 2.5% of emulsion powder and 0.5% of retarders; the raw materials of the face layer are mixed, stirred and bagged. According to the wall enclosing material, the industrial byproduct gypsum is processed through the modifying technology, is changed into hydraulic cementing materials and has the gelling property that intensity can be kept in water like cement, and meanwhile the slight expansibility and the good binding property of the gypsum are achieved.
