Ce doped CaMnO3 thermoelectric material and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to a rare earth element Ce doped CaMnO3 thermoelectric material and a preparation method thereof. The thermoelectric material is Ca1-xCexMnO3, and x is 0.02-0.15. The preparation method of the thermoelectric material is a high temperature solid phase reaction method. Compared with a spark plasma sintering (SPS) method and a sol-gel method, the method provided by the invention has the advantages of low cost, simplicity and easy operation. The thermoelectric material Ca1-xCexMnO3 prepared through the preparation method has increased electron concentration and reduced resistivity, the thermoelectric quality factor ZT is improved and is about 50% higher than that of thermoelectric materials not doped with Ce, and the thermoelectric performances of the Ce doped CaMnO3 thermoelectric material are effectively improved.
