The porcelain comprises, by weight, 100 parts of xCaCO3-ySiO2, 0-9 parts of Al2O3, 0-5 parts of CaTiO3, 0-5 parts of MgO and 0-0.3 parts of RE2O3, and a molar ratio of CaCO3 to SiO2 in the xCaCO3-ySiO2 is x:y, wherein x is 0.8-1.2, y is 0.8-1.6, raw material components of the porcelain comprise at least one of Al2O3, CaTiO3, MgO and RE2O3, and RE is Y, Ce or Nd. Capacitors made by adopting the porcelain have the advantages of low manufacturing cost, low dielectric constant, low dielectric loss, high temperature stability, and suitableness for microwave communication and other high frequency applications.
