The invention provides a steel rail vibration absorbing fastener. The steel rail vibration absorbing fastener comprises a base, clamping plates, a rail bottom lower surface vibration isolating pad, rail bottom upper surface vibration isolating pads, rail waist side vibration isolating pads and rail gauge pads, wherein the base is arranged on a sleeper; the clamping plates are arranged on the base in a pair and used for clamping a steel rail on the base; the rail bottom lower surface vibration isolating pad is arranged between the bottom surface of a steel rail bottom and the base; the rail bottom upper surface vibration isolating pads are arranged between the top surface of the steel rail bottom and second internal side walls of the clamping plates; the rail waist side vibration isolating pads are arranged between a steel rail waist and first internal side walls of the clamping plates; the rail gauge pads are arranged between the side wall of the base and the external side walls of the clamping plates; and the clamping plates are mounted on the base through fastening bolts, nuts and lock washers or springs. The invention is advantaged in that the structural design of the steel rail vibration absorbing fastener is reasonable, the buffering settlement quantity of the steel rail can be increased without increasing the transverse displacement of a rail head, the driving safety is ensured, high vibration isolating performance is obtained, and environment vibration problem caused by train operation can be effectively solved.
