The invention discloses a geotextile laying method for soft foundation treatment construction of a dredger fill area. The method comprises the steps that a winch is arranged on a sub-cofferdam beside a construction plant; multiple rolls of geotextile are conveyed to the plant and are bundled and then conveyed to more than one floating mat, and the floating mats are self-propelled floating mats with engines; and the winch drags the geotextile, workers move to the other side of the construction plant by riding the floating mats, and the winch drags the geotextile to lay the geotextile on a muddy surface of the construction plant. According to the geotextile laying process method for the special condition of soft foundation treatment construction of the dredger fill area of an area adjacent to the sea, the self-propelled floating mats are adopted, and the winch is used for dragging the geotextile, so that the efficiency of the geotextile laying procedure and construction safety are greatly improved.
