The invention discloses a butt joint installing device for underwater suspension tunnel pipe sections. The installing device comprises a push end structure and a butt joint end structure. The push end structure comprises a sleeve section, a pipeline section and a horn mouth section which are connected in sequence. The sleeve section is fixedly arranged on the installed pipe section in a sleeving manner. A plurality of positioning grooves distributed in the circumferential direction are formed in the inner wall section of the pipeline section and the inner wall section of the horn mouth section. The butt joint end structure comprises a left fixing circular ring, a right fixing circular ring and a plurality of positioning protruding ridges. The left fixing circular ring and the right fixing circular ring are fixedly arranged on a to-be-installed pipe section in a sleeving manner. The left ends and the right ends of the positioning protruding ridges are fixed to the left fixing circular ring and the right fixing circular ring respectively. The positioning protruding ridges are matched with the positioning grooves. The butt joint installing device has the beneficial effects that when the to-be-installed pipe section moves to the installed pipe section, the positioning protruding ridges on the butt joint end structure move along the corresponding positioning grooves in the push end structure, very good positioning and guiding functions are achieved, and accurate butt joint of the to-be-installed pipe section and the installed pipe section can be achieved.
