The invention relates to a novel six-claw mechanism, in particular to a six-claw grabbing mechanism used for grabbing irregular materials such as scrap iron and ore. The novel six-claw mechanism comprises a grab bucket base body, claws, a hydraulic cylinder and a hydraulic motor. Compared with existing products, the novel six-claw mechanism has the advantages that the grabbing performance is reliable, operation is easy, the application range is wide, and the service life is long; the safety degree is higher compared with a rope grab bucket.
