The invention relates to the technical field of exterior wall paints, specifically to an exterior wall coating. The exterior wall coating comprises the following raw materials by weight: 500 to 900 parts of sand, 100 to 500 parts of wollastonite powder, 2 to 6 parts of a melamine water reducing agent, 2 to 5 parts of rubber powder, 3 to 5 parts of hydroxypropyl cellulose ether, 2 to 6 parts of a thickening and lubricating agent, 1 to 3 parts of polypropylene anticracking fiber, 3 to 8 parts of a color-fixing and alkali-resisting agent and 10 to 20 parts of pigment. Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects: the coating is prepared with sand as a main material and nanometer polymer materials, mineral silicon-aluminum materials and natural mineral pigments as auxiliary materials by mixing; and the coating is free of any toxic and harmful substances and organic chemical compounds, is absolutely free of formaldehyde and is a purely-green environment-friendly product.
