The present invention relates to a gunning material for an outer wall lining of a lime kiln heat-exchanger, and solves the technical problem that after being peeled off, the light-weight insulating brick on an outer wall lining of an existing lime kiln heat-exchanger can not be repaired on line. The gunning material for the outer wall lining of the lime kiln heat-exchanger comprises the following raw material components in percentage by weight: 35%-45% of sintered magnesia, 25%-35% of periclase, 13%-24% of bentonite, 6%-8% of sodium nitrate and 3%-4% of Al12O3 micro-powder. The gunning material is mainly used for gunning repair of the outer wall lining of the lime kiln heat-exchanger, and preventing heat loss. Service life of the light-weight insulating brick, subjected to the gunning repair, on the outer wall lining thermal-insulation layer of the lime kiln heat-exchanger is more than 4 times that of the originally used light-weight insulating brick.
