The invention relates to an anchoring device for holding a steel rope. The anchoring device comprises an upper plate, a side plate, a movable pressing plate and a fixed pressing plate, wherein the upper plate and the side plate are connected to form a whole through rib plates; the fixed pressing plate and the fixed pressing plate are closely attached and connected to form a whole through a high strength connecting bolt; arc grooves are respectively formed in the movable pressing plate and the fixed pressing plate; two ends of the movable pressing plate are small, the middle of the movable pressing plate is large, and two similar isosceles triangle protrusions are arranged at the middle part; similar isosceles triangle grooves are formed in the middle of the side plate; the grooves of the side plate are matched with the protrusions of the movable pressing plate. Under the use state, the anchoring device for holding the steel rope is mounted on the steel rope; the steel rope penetrates through a through hole formed by the movable pressing plate and the fixed pressing plate. The fixed pressing plate and the side plate are connected to form a whole through the high strength connecting bolt; the steel rope is fixed at the through hole. The device is anchored at the middle part of the steel rope, so that strong bonding force is provided for the steel rope, continuous anchoring can be realized, the anchoring device is convenient to assemble and disassemble, and the steel rope is hardly damaged basically.
