Provided is a magnetic fluid channel for an offshore magnetic fluid thin oil film recovery device. A square flange opening is located in the left end of a rectangular channel base body of the magnetic fluid channel, and a square straight opening is located in the right end of the rectangular channel base body of the magnetic fluid channel. The smooth rectangular channel is formed by four walls of the rectangular channel base body. The upper wall and the lower wall of the rectangular channel base body are hollowed out to become frame structures. Lead port holes for channel electrodes are reserved in the centers of electrode cover plates, and electrode leads are welded to the centers of the channel electrodes. The channel electrodes are mounted on the lower surfaces of the electrode cover plates, and the electrode leads of the channel electrodes penetrate through the lead port holes of the electrode cover plates. Two pairs of assemblies composed of the channel electrodes and the electrode cove plates are embedded in the upper wall and the lower wall of the rectangular channel base body respectively. A smeary sea water inlet of the magnetic fluid channel is located in the left end of the rectangular channel base body. The right end of the rectangular channel base body is connected with an outlet connection flange section in a nested mode. The outlet end of the magnetic fluid channel is located at the left end of the outlet connection flange section.
