The invention discloses a multifunctional solar bus stop, comprising seats, a rain shield, an advertising light box, supports and an information board. The seats and the advertising light box are mounted between the supports. The advertising light box is located at the rear of the seats. The rain shield is mounted at the top of the supports. The information board is mounted on the supports. Solar panels are mounted on the upper surface of the rain shield and are connected with a storage battery. The storage battery is fitted with a control circuit board which is provided with a wireless transceiving circuit module. A light source is disposed inside the advertising light box and connected with the storage battery. The multifunctional solar bus stop is solar powered and enables the advertising light box to display without the access to mains supply, a display and a speaker box are provided that impart dynamic bus information display function and a speech broadcasting function to the bus stop, and a trash bin is provided that is convenient for waiting passengers to use and is good for maintaining environmental sanitation.
