The invention relates to a self-cleaning type solar sentry box umbrella which comprises a base, a side standing umbrella and a console. The side standing umbrella and the console are fixed on the base, the side standing umbrella comprises a support rod and an umbrella body which are movably connected, the umbrella body can be turned over, the upper surface of the umbrella body is covered with a solar thin film, and the base is provided with a fan or a heater which is electrically connected with the solar thin film.
