The balance-weight type oil containment boom comprises a pontoon, a containment net, a fence, a first balance weight chain and a second balance weight chain. The pontoon is wrapped by a pontoon wrapping edge, the first balance weight chain is wrapped by a first wrapping edge, and the second balance weight chain is wrapped by a second wrapping edge; the fence comprises a first fence body and a second fence body from top to bottom; a first branch connector with the height coincident with the height of the axis of the pontoon is further arranged on the pontoon wrapping edge, a second branch connector with the height coincident with the height of the axis of the first balance weight chain is further arranged on the first wrapping edge, the containment net is in a grid shape, the top of the containment net is fixedly connected to the interior of the first branch connector, and the bottom of the containment net is fixedly connected to the interior of the second branch connector. The balance-weight type oil containment boom has the advantages of being high in cleaning efficiency and low in cost; due to the double-section type centering structure, the balance-weight type oil containment boom has the advantages of being stable in structure and good in cleaning effect.
