The invention provides a preheating apparatus for coil placing, comprising a preheating chamber shell, a preheating chamber, conveying rolls, a second preheater and a controller. The preheating chamber is disposed in the preheating chamber shell. A first preheater is disposed in the preheating chamber. A conveying belt is disposed below the first preheater and is connected with the conveying rolls. The second preheater is disposed below the conveying belt. The controller is disposed on the right of the preheating chamber shell. Compared with the prior art, the preheating apparatus has the advantages that the novel preheating apparatus has the independent preheating chamber, a thermal insulation apparatus is arranged around the preheating chamber, resource waste is substantially reduced, preheating is more significantly effective, expected application can be achieved for a heated material, the material is preheated from both top and bottom, operating efficiency of the preheating apparatus is substantially improved, and a sliding mechanism is arranged to enable uniform heating for the material.
