The invention relates to a valve assembly particular for a driver of a door or a window. The valve assembly comprises an regulating valve including a valve body. The regulating valve is arranged in a receiving hole provided with inner thread, rotates about a longitudinal axis of the receiving hole for axial regulation, and is used for variably adjusting throttling gap arranged for a hydraulic pressure channel. The valve body of the regulating valve comprises a first valve component used as a rotary regulating member and a second valve component as a control component arranged in the throttling gap. The first valve component has external thread cooperating with the inner thread of the receiving hole. The second valve component can be axially moved in the receiving hole, is prevented from rotation, and has a hole provided with inner thread. An extension part of the external thread of the first valve component engages the hole. The thread pitch of the cooperative threads of the extension parts of the first and second valve components is less than the thread pitch of the cooperative threads of first valve component and the receiving hole.
