The invention discloses a trestle ladder for single-person operation. The trestle ladder comprises two ladder frames with one ends hinged together, and each ladder frame is composed of two side plated vertically arranged in parallel, and a plurality of levels of pedals transversely connected between the side plates. The trestle ladder is characterized in that a length adjustable limiting belt is connected to the second level of pedals of the two ladder frames, the two parts separated in the middle of the limiting belt are connected through a buckle, and arched shoe lugs are arranged on the upper sides of three continuous levels of pedals, close to the top ends of the ladder frames, of the ladder frames. Compared with the prior art, the trestle ladder has the advantages that by means of the shoe lugs arranged on the pedals and the length adjustable limiting belt, an operator can move the ladder by himself without assistance of others while riding on the ladder frames, and safety, convenience and high efficiency are realized.
