Calcium aluminate cement preparing method
The invention discloses a calcium aluminate cement preparing method. According to the method, raw materials including calcium carbonate, aluminum oxide and aluminite powder are dosed firstly; the weighed raw materials are mixed; the evenly mixed raw materials are formed; the formed materials are placed in a self-propagating high-temperature furnace for reaction; a sample is taken out after temperature is reduced to be indoor temperature, and the sample is ground to generate calcium aluminate cement. The calcium aluminate cement prepared with the method contains 68-74% of CaO.Al2O3, 18-25% of CaO.2Al2O3, and the balance 12CaO.7Al2O3 and trace impurities. The phase composition of the calcium aluminate cement prepared with the method is similar to that of current calcium aluminate cement. The calcium aluminate cement prepared with the method has the advantages that the technology is simple, energy consumption is low and cost is low and can be widely applied to multiple industries including metallurgy and building materials.
