The production method comprises the following steps: A, body powder for the porcelain ceramic sheet is prepared with a conventional method; B, a surface material for the porcelain ceramic sheet is prepared with a conventional method; C, the body powder is distributed and pre-pressed; D, the surface material is distributed; E, mold-free compression moulding is performed; F, a green body is cut; G, the body is dried; H, ink jet printing is performed; I, sintering is performed; J, edging is performed. The production method has the benefits that porcelain ceramic sheets with ultra-large specifications can be prepared through mold-free compression moulding, richer specifications are realized, a body material distribution technology and a surface material distribution technology are used comprehensively, three-dimensional texture such as holes, cracks and the like in natural stone is reproduced vividly, the problems that specifications of ceramic tiles are not rich enough and pattern texture is lack of three-dimensional texture expression in the prior art are solved, and the porcelain ceramic sheet and the production method thereof are provided.
