The invention discloses a protecting component for electrical equipment maintenance. The protecting component comprises a plurality of protecting modules, a connecting support is connected between each two adjacent protecting modules, each protecting module comprises two support rods which are arranged symmetrically, and a connecting sleeve arranged on the inner sides of the support rods, a supporting rod is matched between two opposite connecting sleeves, a protecting board is matched on each supporting rod, a warming lamp is arranged at the top of each supporting rod, each connecting support comprises two supporting rings which are arranged symmetrically, a clamping board is arranged on the excircle of each supporting ring, a clamping groove is formed in one end, away from the corresponding supporting ring, of each clamping board, an adjusting rod is matched between two clamping grooves, a rotating shaft is matched between each adjusting rod and the corresponding clamping board, and the supporting rings are matched with the support rods. When the protecting component is in use, the protecting modules are connected through the connecting supports, so that non-staff is avoided entering a maintenance site, maintained equipment is avoided being stolen, and the non-staff is avoided being hurt.
