The invention discloses an intelligent parking management method and system. The method includes the following steps that: after obtaining unique identification codes, vehicles enter a vehicle cache region; a vehicle scanning system performs vehicle scanning on the vehicles and uploads vehicle information to a main system; the main system determines vacant parking spaces suitable for the vehicles according to the received vehicle information; the main system issues scheduling information, so that the vehicles in the vehicle cache region can be conveyed to reserved parking spaces through an autonomous control omnidirectional conveying platform; after receiving vehicle picking information, the main system performs payment confirmation; the main system issues scheduling information, so that the vehicles in the parking spaces can be conveyed to the vehicle cache region through the autonomous control omnidirectional conveying platform; and the vehicles leave the vehicle cache region. According to the parking management system, optical or video scanning/recognition are performed on vehicles in different models; the vehicles can be parked in parking spaces through the autonomous control omnidirectional conveying platform; and therefore, a lot of manpower resources can be saved, and work efficiency can be improved, and parking methods and modes can be simplified, and the application of the wholly-designed intelligent automatic parking space system can be more advanced and stable.
