The invention discloses an automatic sprinkler system for urban roads. The automatic sprinkler system comprises a water storage tank, spray heads, water pipes, a water pump, a water pipe solenoid valve, a dust sensor, a temperature sensor and a controller, wherein the water storage tank and the spray heads are connected through the water pipes; the water pump and the water pipe solenoid valve are mounted on the water pipes; the dust sensor is used for detecting the concentration of dust; the temperature sensor is used for detecting the air temperature; the controller is connected with the water pipe solenoid valve, the dust sensor and the temperature sensor. The sprinkler system disclosed by the invention can automatically and precisely control the dust concentration and the air temperature of the urban roads.
