The invention discloses a pile extension device for lengthening a pile leg. The pile extension device comprises a pile leg lengthening section and the pile leg, and further comprises an upper flange connected with the pile leg lengthening section and a lower flange connected with the pile leg, wherein the upper flange and the lower flange are connected through multiple high-strength bolts; water-proof plastics are arranged between connecting surfaces of the upper flange and the lower flange; the outer sides of the connecting surfaces of the upper flange and the lower flange are coated with surface layer water-proof coatings. According to the pile extension device for lengthening the pile leg, the pile leg can be lengthened through flange connection; water tightness of the whole pile leg is guaranteed; therefore, the operation range of a wind power installation vessel can be widened. The pile extension device for lengthening the pile leg is easy to operate, convenient to dismount, high in joint strength, capable of being repeatedly used, low in cost and excellent in economical efficiency.
