The invention discloses a construction method of a variable color pattern decoration wall. The method includes the following steps of a, constructing conventional external wall paint base layer; b, constructing external wall paint; c, designing a pattern and drawing a contour line; d, constructing a bottom layer pattern; e, constructing a variable pattern layer; f, constructing a pattern protection layer. The variable pattern layer includes one or more pattern layer bodies which are painted through reversible color-variable paint, each pattern layer body can be combined with the bottom pattern layer or other variable pattern layer bodies to form a new pattern. By means of the construction method, the decoration wall with various patterns capable of changing according to the temperature change, the weather change and the diurnal change can be constructed, and a quite good decoration effect is achieved.
