The invention discloses a semi-mechanized steel strand laying method for a circular silo. The method comprises following steps: S1, refitting and reinforcing a slip-form platform frame; S2, installing winches; S3, installing cylinder wall steel strand fixing frames and performing alignment; S4, making steel wire ropes on the winches pre-pass through the steel strand fixing frames; S5, connecting the steel strands and the steel wire ropes; S6, retracting the steel wire ropes through the winches, manually making the steel strands be in place through a fine tuning manner, disconnecting the steel wire ropes and the steel strands, and fastening the steel strands and the steel strand fixing frames through fastening wires. By employing the laying method, the steel strands can be laid in a semi-mechanized manner through the winches, problems that the labor intensity of steel strand laying workers is large and the laying progress is slow during the slip-form construction are solved, the selected devices are economical and reasonable, the construction cost is reduced, and the operation time is saved.
