The invention provides a mute lock. The mute lock comprises a latch bolt assembly and a spring bolt box assembly. The spring bolt box assembly comprises a lock catch and a spring bolt box body. The lock catch comprises an opening and a frame. The spring bolt box body is made of plastic and comprises a latch bolt containing cavity. The latch bolt containing cavity is aligned with the opening and is located below the lock catch. The spring bolt box body comprises a latch bolt jointing part which is integrally formed and extends towards one side, and the latch bolt jointing part extends to cover one side of the frame of the lock catch. The stacking installation position with the lock catch is changed ingeniously during installation, so that the surface of the lock catch is covered with a plastic layer, and the noise reduction effect is achieved.
