The invention discloses a building window having a solar power generation function and a method for manufacturing the same. According to the invention, the structure and manufacturing technology of a self-energized electrochromic device are improved, so that the building window capable of generating electricity, having quite high photoelectric energy conversion efficiency, having a prolonged service lifetime, having high freezing-resistance, and having a solar power generation function can be manufactured. The method is easy to carry out, and facilitates industrial production. At the room temperature, a 1000W xenon lamp (Oriel 91192, USA) is employed to simulate the sunlight, a Keithly 2400 source meter is employed for measurement, the irradiation intensity is 100W/cm<2>, the photoelectric energy conversion efficiency is 8.28-10.58% when the radiated area of a battery is 0.25 cm<2>, and the photoelectric energy conversion efficiency is 8.01-10.56% after the self-energized electrochromic device is reused for 5000 times.
