The invention discloses a herringbone ladder. The herringbone ladder comprises a main ladder and a supporting ladder, wherein one end of the main ladder is hinged to one end of the supporting ladder; the main ladder comprises two parallel vertical side plates and a plurality of steps connected between the side plates; the supporting ladder comprises two parallel vertical side plates, a top step and a first step; and the top step and the first step are respectively arranged at the upper ends and the lower ends of the side plates. The herringbone ladder is characterized in that a piece of rectangular wear-resistant cloth is arranged between the side plates of the supporting ladder; and the upper end and the lower end of the wear-resistant cloth are respectively fixed on the top step and the first step. Compared with the prior art, the herringbone ladder disclosed by the invention can be used for high-altitude operation, a worker can sit or lie on the herringbone ladder to have a rest in leisure time, the angle of the herringbone ladder can be adjusted until the worker feels comfortable when having a rest, and the herringbone ladder is simple and practical.
