A single-and-dual-wire soft ladder for transmission maintenance is characterized by comprising two upright posts, wherein a suspension bracket is rotationally connected to the top of each upright post; the rotating center lines of the suspension brackets are superposed with the center lines of the upright posts; each suspension bracket comprises a connecting rod and a gate-shaped pulley support; the bottom of one side of each pulley support is integrally connected with the corresponding connecting rod; the bottom of each connecting rod is in rotational connection with the top of the corresponding upright post; a pulley is transversely mounted in the middle of each pulley support; a lower opening is formed in the lower side of each pulley support; a fixed block is arranged at the upper part of each upright post; an arc-shaped rod is connected between the fixed blocks of the two upright posts; the arc-shaped rods are arc-shaped; the opening direction of the arc-shaped rod faces upwards, and the plane where the arc-shaped rod is located is parallel to the center lines of the upright posts; a connecting rod is connected to each of the two upright posts.
