The invention provides a grooving method for a bridge pier support padstone and a construction method for bridge rectification. The grooving method for the bridge pier support padstone comprises the following steps: marking the diameter and depth of an existing bolt sleeve on the support padstone to form drilling boundary lines; and drilling holes in the horizontal direction according to the drilling boundary lines, and overlapping the multiple drilled holes in the vertical direction to form an operation hole. According to the grooving method for the pier support, the operation hole is formedby drilling holes in the support padstone, so existing bolt connection between the support and the support padstone can be effectively damaged, and preparation is made for further complete failure ofconnection between the support and the support padstone.
