The invention discloses a floating object stopping facility which comprises a main rope floating object stopping device and a pull anchor device. The main rope floating object stopping device comprises main rope anchoring pieces, a floating object stopping raft body and main rope steel wire ropes. The two ends of the floating object stopping raft body are fixed to the main rope anchoring pieces through the main rope steel wire ropes. The pull anchor device comprises pull anchor anchoring pieces and pull anchor steel wire ropes. The main rope anchoring pieces and the pull anchor anchoring pieces are buried in a bank or a dam. One end of each pull anchor steel wire rope is fixed to the corresponding pull anchor anchoring piece, and the other end of each pull anchor steel wire rope is connected to the floating object stopping raft body. The floating object stopping facility is structurally characterized in that one section in the floating object stopping raft body is of a U-shaped frame structure, and an opening of the U-shaped frame structure faces upwards. The U-shaped frame structure determines navigation clear width and navigation water depth according to relevant regulations andhas sufficient self-floating, anti-bending and anti-torque capacity, and upstream and downstream vessels can smoothly pass. By means of the floating object stopping facility, the stopping of floatingobjects in the whole section of a river, the safe and smooth passage of the upstream and downstream vessels and the safe and convenient floating object clearing work can be realized.
