The horizontal steel supporting mechanism comprises a steel pipe standard end, a steel pipe moving end, fixed ends, wing plates and a connecting plate, wherein the fixed ends are symmetrically arranged at two ends and are respectively fixed with the foundation pit supporting structure; one end of the steel pipe standard end is fixed with one fixed end, and one end of the steel pipe moving end is fixed with the other fixed end; the other end of the steel pipe standard end and the other end of the steel pipe moving end are coupled with each other in a sleeved mode; the wing plates are fixedly arranged on the outer side face of the steel pipe standard end and the outer side face of the steel pipe moving end; and the connecting plate is connected through two wing plates at the same timeto realize the fixation of the steel pipe standard end and the steel pipe moving end.
