The invention provides a variable-section hyperbolic C-shaped column cylindrical surface decoration construction method. The method comprises the following steps of: step 1, construction preparation;step 2, three-dimensional laser scanning and point cloud data acquisition; step 3, point cloud data analysis and building model correction; step 4, deepening design and drawing confirmation; step 5, adoption of BIM technology for assisting component arrangement and generation of a blanking machining list and an installation control data list; step 6, installation measurement and paying off; step 7, installation of a keel system, wherein an additional transverse keel is additionally arranged on the upper grid structure of a C-shaped column, vertical keels are temporarily fixed on an L-shaped adapter of the additional transverse keel through a first combined U-shaped connecting piece, the transverse keel is installed between the adjacent vertical keels, and the whole keel system is formed; and step 8, installation of a decoration panel, wherein the decoration panel is installed on the transverse keel through an adjusting bolt and a second U-shaped connecting piece. The method has the advantages of smooth curved surface curve, convenient disassembly and assembly, three-dimensional adjustment, improved construction efficiency and cost saving.
