The embodiment of the invention provides a top temperature control method for a vertical co-firing lime kiln. The top temperature control method comprises the following steps: constructing a top temperature control function by taking the kiln bottom air volume adjustment amount in a vertical co-firing lime kiln as an adjustment object; and adjusting the kiln bottom air volume according to change conditions, wherein the change conditions specifically comprise top temperature change and stone feeding amount change, wherein PID dynamic adjustment is performed based on temperature change and kilnconditions, dynamic adjustment of an air volume adjustment coefficient is performed according to the stone feeding amount change and the kiln conditions, and finally the kiln bottom air inlet volume is obtained through calculation so as to achieve fine control of the top temperature of the lime kiln. According to the method, the accuracy and the timeliness of lime kiln top temperature control canbe improved, the optimal control over the lime kiln top temperature is achieved, and the lime kiln calcining area is stabilized, so that the lime kiln calcining quality is improved, and coke consumption is reduced.
