The invention discloses a manufacturing process of phosphorus building gypsum powder. The method comprises the following steps: S1, obtaining raw materials, namely phosphogypsum and limestone powder;s2, putting the phosphogypsum in the raw materials in the step S1 into a crusher to be crushed to obtain phosphogypsum particles, s3, putting the crushed phosphogypsum particles into a grinding machine for grinding, and screening to obtain phosphogypsum powder, s4, mixing the screened phosphogypsum powder in water according to the mass ratio of 1-1.2; uniformly stirring to obtain phosphogypsum slurry; s5, adding a water reducing agent and a retarder into the phosphogypsum slurry and mixing; s6, adding the limestone powder into the phosphogypsum slurry according to a mass ratio of 1-5, and uniformly mixing and stirring to obtain a mixture; S7, conveying the mixture to a dehydration furnace; and S8, conveying the mixture to a calcining furnace for 22-28 minutes. By adding the water reducingagent and the retarder, the moisture in the phosphogypsum slurry can be continuously reduced, meanwhile, the phosphogypsum slurry is prevented from being condensed too fast, and the limestone powder can be used for increasing the adhesive force of materials in the phosphogypsum slurry.
