The invention relates to the technical field of bridge detection, and discloses a retractable bridge detection arm and a bridge detection platform, the retractable bridge detection arm comprises a turnover suspension arm, a rotary frame, a turnover frame and a measuring arm; one end of the overturning suspension arm is used for connecting a carrying platform on a pre-detection bridge, and the other end is rotatably connected with the rotary frame. The roll-over stand is hinged with the rotary stand along the central axial direction vertical to the rotation of the rotary stand; the first end ofthe measuring arm is slidably connected with the roll-over stand, and the second end of the measuring arm is provided with a butt joint guide structure arranged in the sliding direction of the measuring arm. According to the invention, two sets of retractable bridge detection arms can be butted and combined; the two measuring arms are butted at the lower side of the pre-detection bridge to form astable and self-adaptive adjustable'simply supported beam 'structure, so that the vibration of the single cantilever type arranged measuring arm is reduced, the detection effect of corresponding sensors on the measuring arm is ensured, and the bridge detection precision and detection efficiency are greatly improved.
