The invention relates to an energy-saving and environment-friendly roof system of a green building. The energy-saving and environment-friendly roof system includes a roof body, and a bracket is arranged on the roof body. A water collecting trough is arranged on the bracket, and a drop water landscape is arranged on the side surface of the water collecting trough. Planting areas are arranged on both sides of the drop water landscape, and drainage ditches are arranged on the side, away from the water collecting trough, of the drop water landscape. A water storage tank is arranged in the bracket,and the water storage tank is located below the water collecting trough. The water storage tank is connected with the drop water landscape through a drain pipe in a communication mode, and a first water pump is arranged on the water storage tank. A spray pipe is connected to the water outlet end of the first water pump, and the spray pipe is provided with spray heads for irrigating the planting areas. The water storage tank is used for storing rainwater. When irrigation needs to be carried out, water in the water storage tank is pumped to the spray pipe through the first water pump, and thenthe planting areas are irrigated by the spray heads on the spray pipe, so that the utilization rate of the rainwater is increased, the waste of water resources is reduced, and the water resources canbe saved and environmental protection can be achieved.
