The invention discloses a system for generating power by utilizing rainwater and purifying and storing the rainwater. The system comprises a main pipeline, impellers, driving gears, generators, a storage battery and a reservoir, and rotating shafts of the impellers extend out of the main pipeline and are rotationally connected with the pipe wall of the main pipeline in a sealed mode; an arc-shapedflaring is formed in the top end of the main pipeline, a filter screen is fixedly connected to the upper portion of the arc-shaped flaring, branch pipelines are connected to the bottom end of the main pipeline, and the branch pipelines are multiple; and the other ends of the multiple branch pipelines are connected with a water purifying device, a water outlet of the water purifying device communicates with the reservoir, a water suction pump is arranged on one side of the reservoir, and the water suction pump is connected with the storage battery. According to the system, while rainwater on the tail roof of a high-rise building is drained in a timing mode, potential energy in the rainwater falling process can be used for generating electricity and storing electricity, rainwater is purified and stored in a centralized mode, and the purified rainwater is supplied to people for use through the electricity generated by the potential energy of the rainwater and the water suction pump, so that full utilization of the rainwater is achieved; and all the devices are convenient to arrange, green and environment-friendly, and good practicability is achieved.
