The wall building block transverse mortar joint and vertical mortar joint control devicecomprises a left vertical plate and a right vertical plate which are located on the same horizontal plane, a horizontal sliding rod capable of sliding and being positioned in the length direction ofthe left vertical plate and the length direction of the right vertical plate is mounted between the left vertical plate and the right vertical plate, a mortar joint control box capable of sliding andbeing positioned in the length direction of the horizontal sliding rod is mounted on one side of the horizontal sliding rod, the mortar joint control box comprises box bodies with building block placing parts and mortar filling openings, the box bodies are mounted at the upper portion and the lower portion of the he mortar joint control box, the longitudinal height of the box bodies is larger thanthe longitudinal height of building blocks to be built, and the length between the inner walls of front side plates and the inner walls of rear side plates of the box bodies is consistent with the wall thickness of a wall to be built; and a rectangular opening extending to the bottom is formed in the lower end of a left side plate and/or a right side plate of each box body, and at least one mortar overflowing opening is formed in the lower end of the front side plate and/or the rear side plate of each box body. The wall building block transverse mortar joint and vertical mortar joint controldevice has the advantages of being simple in structure, convenient to operate and good in mortar joint forming quality.
