The invention discloses an automatic locking lifting hook device for an unloading door of a material distribution machine and an automatic locking method. The automatic locking lifting hook device comprises an air cylinder, an automatic locking lifting hook, a lifting hook rotating shaft, a locking lifting lug and a control system. A connecting air cylinder hole is formed in one end of the automatic locking lifting hook while the lifting hook is arranged at the other end of the automatic locking lifting hook, and a rotary shaft hole is formed in the middle of the automatic locking lifting hook; the air cylinder is hinged to the automatic locking lifting hook, the lifting hook rotating shaft penetrating the rotary shaft hole is welded to a hopper shell of the spiral material distribution machine, and the locking lifting lug is welded to a position, close to a discharge opening, of the unloading door; and the control system controls the unloading door to open and close. After the material distribution machine is cleaned, the air cylinder is jacked up to stretch to close the opened unloading door. The air cylinder of the automatic locking lifting hook device stretches to drive the automatic locking lifting hook to rotate by taking the lifting hook rotating shaft as a center. The automatic locking lifting hook rotating to the locking lifting lug is just inserted into the unloadingdoor to be locked automatically. The automatic locking lifting hook device is free of manual operations and improves the automation level of the material distribution machine.
