The invention discloses a high-strength, light-weight, heat-preservation and heat-insulation wall body material and a preparation method thereof. The wall body material is prepared from a main material, an auxiliary material and a proper amount of water, wherein the main material is composed of 75-85 wt% of desulfurized gypsum, aluminate cement and ordinary Portland cement, and the auxiliary material is composed of EPS particles, expanded perlite, a gypsum retarder, fibers, a binder, a water reducing agent and a defoaming agent. According to the invention, the byproducts desulfurized gypsum and waste EPS particles obtained in industrial production of a thermal power plant are utilized, so that the problem of stacking of desulfurized gypsum is solved, the problem of white pollution caused by waste EPS is also solved, and the method has important practical significance; and the prepared wall body material is high in strength, light in weight and excellent in heat preservation performanceand heat insulation performance.
