According to the hydraulic engineering gate, a wave blocking device is arranged, impact of water waves can be blocked through wave blocking plates and wave blocking protrusions, part of the impactforce of the water waves can be released, and the impact force received by the gate plate can be reduced; and besides, small-flow water prevention can be carried out by arranging the water drainage pipe and a baffle, so that repeated lifting of the gate plate can be avoided, and the service life of the gate plate can be prolonged while energy consumption is reduced.
