The invention provides a plastering mechanism, a plastering robot and an application method of the plastering mechanism and relates to the field of construction machinery. The plastering mechanism comprises a support, a plastering plate and mortar blocking mechanisms. The plastering plate is mounted on the support and used for applying mortar. The mortar blocking mechanisms are arranged at the twoends of the plastering plate. Each mortar blocking mechanism comprises a mortar baffle and a driving assembly. The driving assemblies are arranged on the support or the plastering plate. The output ends of the driving assemblies are connected with the corresponding mortar baffles. The driving assemblies can drive the corresponding mortar baffles to move between a mortar blocking position and an avoiding position. When the mortar baffles are located in the mortar blocking positions, the mortar baffles extend out from one side of the plastering plate to abut against the side end faces of the plastering plate. When the mortar baffles are located in the avoiding position, the mortar baffles are completely withdrawn to the back side of the plastering plate. The plastering robot provided by theinvention comprises the plastering mechanism. Through the plastering mechanism, the plastering robot and the application method of the plastering mechanism provided by the invention, mortar can be prevented from spilling out from the side edges of the plastering plate, and meanwhile, plastering can be carried out on an internal corner wall and an external corner wall.
