The invention discloses a height adjusting support with a connecting structure and a height adjusting method. The height adjusting support is provided with a supporting seat main body arranged betweena beam body and an abutment, pre-embedded assemblies are embedded in the beam body and/or the abutment; the upper surface and/or the lower surface of the supporting seat main body are/is connected with the attached pre-embedded assembly through a connecting structure; the surface of the supporting seat main body without the connecting structure is in anchoring connection with the beam body or theabutment; the connecting structure is realized through a connecting assembly; the connecting assembly comprises a force transmission key and a height adjusting cushion block. The supporting seat mainbody is connected with a height adjusting base plate, the beam body or the abutment through the force transmission key to form a new connecting structure, height adjusting operation is convenient andreliable, the height adjusting function can be achieved without increasing the height of the supporting seat main body or changing the structural form of the supporting seat main body, and the problem that the cost is increased due to the fact that the height of an existing base plate height adjusting support is increased is solved.
