The invention relates to the technical field of floors, in particular to a floor installation method. The method is used for laying solid-wood floor strips on the ground through novel fasteners; the cross section of each solid-wood floor strip is rectangular, and the bottom is provided with fixing grooves running through the two ends in the length direction; and each novel fastener is composed ofa fixing base and an insertion row vertically arranged on the upper portion of the fixing base. The method includes the following steps: firstly, planning the laying direction of the solid-wood floorstrips; secondly, fixing a plurality of keels to the ground in the direction perpendicular to the planned direction of the solid-wood floor strips, and installing the novel fasteners on the keels at intervals; and thirdly, fastening the solid-wood floor strips to the novel fasteners in sequence. The method aims to achieve the effects that by carrying out laying planning on the solid-wood floor strips through the keels and the novel fasteners firstly and then connecting the solid-wood floor strips to the keels one by one through the novel fasteners, the installation fault tolerance rate of thesolid-wood floor strips is increased, the installation strength of the solid-wood floor strips is guaranteed, and the floor surface after laying is in a nail-free state.
